The Surrogacy Center of Philadelphia provides each client with a detailed surrogacy cost breakdown based on their circumstances, in conjunction with the clinic of their choosing.
We believe in affordability.
On average, with our agency guiding you through this process, a complete surrogacy journey costs around $90,000.
Agency Fee
Our agency fees are divided into reasonable payments:
- Upon match with your surrogate ($8,000.00)
- Upon confirmation of pregnancy ($6,500.00)
- Upon reaching 24 weeks of pregnancy ($6,500.00)
Total: $21,000.00
If your gestational carrier does not become pregnant, we will coordinate additional cycles for free. You only pay our entire agency fee with a successfully completed surrogacy journey.

We completely pre-screen all surrogates in our program, so you never set your heart on someone who isn’t a viable candidate. HAS A SURROGATE EVER CHANGED HER MIND?
We have never had this happen before, but this is always a concern on behalf of Intended Parents. All gestational carriers undergo extensive evaluation from a physical and emotional standpoint. We also emphasize to all our surrogates that this is a family-based decision. The entire surrogacy process can have an impact on a marriage and family duties. Problems arise when a gestational carrier is unsupported during the process (ex. spouse is lukewarm to the idea) or has other than altruistic primary motivations (ex. financial). Our screening process ensures that the surrogates in our program fully understand the commitment they are making on behalf of themselves and their families.
HOW LONG DOES A SURROGACY JOURNEY TAKE?
Once you are matched with a surrogate, the average surrogacy journey is between 12 – 15 months long.
